This course refreshes previously trained forklift operators in the theory and safe use of a Forklift truck. A three year certificate of training is issued to successful participants.

On completion of this course participants will be able to:

• Use Forklift trucks without danger to people and property
• List the steps to take to ensure effective maintenance

• Brief summary of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005
• Explanations of principle behind Fork Truck
• How to deal with pallet loads
• Overloading
• Battery care and general maintenance
• Practical exercise and assessment of skills
